Joel, Can you give me some ideas about places to go for Bartow County research? I assume that you found your Burger family on the 1860 census in Bartow County? We need to get more census records on-line. If you have your family typed up for a census, maybe you could send it and we could start that way! Have the Deeds for Bartow County ever been abstracted or published? Did you visit the Courthouse? How is that? What is the best library to go to for Bartow Research? About 1846, Charles Barger moved from here to Cass/Bartow Co., where he purchased land in the Euharlee area. His brother William and family came in about 1855.
