My husband and I live in Carroll County, GA but are unable to travel and I've depended heavily on this list for information on my family and on the Coweta List for my husband's ancestors. My grandfather, Elias John Lipscomb, was born in Spartanburg County, SC on 12 Aug 1817 and died 12 May 1896 in Cassville, Bartow Co, GA. He was first married to Artemissa Golightly on 14 Feb 1840 and upon her death, he married my grandmother, Sarah Catherine Pratt on 08 Jun 1884. I am researching this line of the Lipscomb family as well as the Pratt family whom I understand were from Kentucky. Chris Karr
