I have an undated obituary with a small notice below it regarding the 6th annual celebration of Moore's Day on October 25. The public library has no knowledge of it. Someone did remember there being another small library in town. Also that Moore's day was in honor of Dr. Moore, a black physician practicing in Cartersville. The time period would most likely be the late 1950's or 60's. I'm trying to find out a death year for a relative who died in Va. that formerly lived in Bartow County. His name was Jesse J Adams, son of Joshua Parker Adams and Sarah Edmondson. He lived in the Barnsley Community and his siblings were Mary Fountain and Fannie Barnes and Jim Adams. He had sons Theron and Weldon who lived in Miami, Fl. and Chattanooga, TN. Any help appreciated. Fran
