    3. Hi, I am new to your list and would appreciate a lookup. In a January 1925 interview, Civil War Veteran William Harrison Elrod stated that he married Aug 15, 1862 to Dicie Minerva Underwood. However, he did not give a county. Can someone check the marriage records, if they are in print, and tell me if they married in Bartow Co GA? If married there, were their families on the 1860 Census? William H....... parents were Jeremiah "Jerry" and Mary Elrod. Dicie's parents were John and Frances Underwood. Thanks so much Karen Smith

    1. [GABARTOW] 1850 Cass County Census Lookups Available

    3. I just purchased a copy of the 1850 Cass County Census in book form (I sure love Ebay!). I am willing to do look ups if you can be fairly specific about who you are looking for.... The book contains the census records, the mortality schedule (those who died in the past year), and the slave schedule (only the owners names and the number of slaves they owned) An interesting note that may be helpful to some....a vast majority of people living in Cass County in 1850 came from South Carolina!
