Look at Part 1.4. I tried to separate and forward it alone, but can't. This is a little long, but you may want to print and save it until you can get back to hunting. I'm going to save it, too, and hope I can find it whenever I can get back to it. Grandmother Walker is in the hospital in rehab for a few days. She slipped and fell in the bathroom last night, was taken to emergency. The orthopedist x-rayed and found it wasn't as bad as it could have been. A small crack in the upper leg, but he didn't want to wait and went right on to surgery, went in and put a pin in it. He said, surprisingly, her bones in her legs are in good condition, and she should be fine, but she has to stay there to have therapy for a while. Right now, Cecil thinks they may need to have someone with her all the time, since she may not be able to move around enough to call nurses, etc. That's not provided or paid for, so they'll have to pay people like they did before or have all of us stay, as much as possible. BUT I already had something scheduled Friday and Saturday, and with a number of people involved and scheduled --- well, Ray said if they need us on the weekend, he'd just go by himself. There'd be nothing to do but sit and call a nurse if she needed anything done. However, from what they say, it may not even be necessary. The doctor said he wants to get her into therapy right away and get her moving to keep her mobile. We were surprised what he said about her bones. I'd always thought osteoporosis spread through the whole skeletal system, and didn't just settle in one area or so. Especially as advanced as hers is, you'd think it would be all over. It's a good thing, or she'd probably be in a really bad situation now. Did you hear from Dr. Eddy again, and getting everything moving? We'll be anxious to hear. I've been trying to read over, with Ray, the graduation instructions, and let you know something. I'll keep trying, and maybe we can finish it soon. Did you get the cookbook to Nell to display - or did she even agree to take it? I'd better run - need to get another e-mail off, finish up some laundry, get my machine and things together, and go to the sewing center early in the morning. Talk to you later. Mom **** I haven't lost my mind. Just saved it on a disk - somewhere.*** A Festival Vendor GABARTOW-D-request@rootsweb.com wrote: > > Part 1.1 Type: Microsoft MHTML Document 4.0 (message/rfc822) > > Part 1.2 Type: Microsoft MHTML Document 4.0 (message/rfc822) > > Part 1.3 Type: Microsoft MHTML Document 4.0 (message/rfc822) > > Part 1.4 Type: Microsoft MHTML Document 4.0 (message/rfc822)
