This is not Spam! The next meeting of the Carroll County, GA Heritage Book Committee will be Monday, Jan. 29, 7 PM, at the old Carrollton Jr. High School, 118 S. White St., behind Carrollton Federal. All are invited to help us "Preserve our Carroll County Heritage"! Our new Carroll County, GA Heritage book is receiving wide support. Inquiries are coming from all over the US to learn about the book! The Carroll County Genealogical Society has announced its support for the project. Officers have been chosen and the book is sure to be a success. Carroll joins Cherokee, Floyd, Paulding, Polk and numerous other Counties as part of the prestigious Georgia County Heritage series. Eligibility is simple; you live in Carroll, used to live or have roots in Carroll. This allows each household 500 words and one photo, free. In addition, if your ancestors resided before 1856 in HARALSON COUNTY in district 7, 8 and part of 6 (these districts include Bremen, Tallapoosa & Buchanan). Questions?
