I thought it might be interesting to include in my book that Maysville has had a female mayor, Mary Arnold. I started racking my brain to think of any other local communities having had a female mayor, and I couldn't come up with any. As far as I know, Commerce and Homer have never had a female mayor. I would love some comments on this subject.
