Many counties have been cardved off since its creation including Banks County. Seth Strange's farm and holding are on the border of Banks and Franklin Counties. The Stranges attended the Nails Creek Baptist Church, founded in the late 1700s. The church is in Banks County so the cemetary records are in Banks leading to the confusion.
