I have a Robert Allen, Jr. born 1703 in New Kent County, VA. I have his wife as Elizabeth Stokes. The only child I have for him is William Allen, born 1725. This Robert's parents were Robert Allen and Sarah Walker. Descendents of these folks (including me) can be found in the Franklin/ Madison/Jackson County area of northeast Georgia. Is this the Allen line you're referring to? You should try to get "Allens of the Southern States" by Norma Miller on inter-library loan. I got into the Allen family through my ggfather Allen Bryan. Try Burns etc. might help.
