My 2nd great gradmother was Mary Jane Broome also. I did not know her name was Mary I just had Jane. Our family line ended with her as we did not know her parents or much about her. I had been looking in the wrong census as I did not know the county where she and Markus settled with children. Also you indicated they had 9 children we only had records for 8.
