He is listed in the Georgia Death records 1919-98 as having lived in Clayton Co. and died in Baldwin Co. He may have been a school teacher at some point or connected with education in general. We have a missing J.D. Self born in Forsyth Co. 1870-71 that we believe to be the same person.
