Hi Jennifer, I married into the Mills family from Orange Co, NY and have not researched this line. My GA research has to do with the Freemans, Patricks. Moulders. Mitchells, and some of their friends, Fort, Pope, Carnes,Morris, Meigs, Woffords (1795-1895) in and around Franklin,Jackson, Stephens, Elbert, Madison, Clarke, Baldwin, and later Cherokee Co. Many of the people I'm researhing were early (1800) doctors in NE Ga and the documentation is quite slim with links to early polictians, War of 1812, later the CSA (have not researched that yet). Lately, I've been looking at the land surveying activities on Ga 1790-1840, and the establishing of Univer. of GA and the Medical School in Augusta.
