Saying that they are available simply means that they exist....that they ARE! It has nothing to do with WHERE they are. Call your local library, and ask the librarian if they have a genealogical dept...then, if they do, inquire if they have the census. The Family History Centers at the Latter Day Saints have census...what they don't have they will order for you, although they usually stock local data. Seeing as how you're local, get on the phone! Start calling around! This Baldwin co list is the most amazing list I've ever been on; the only one where there seem to more local folks than "out of staters"....I can't imagine, really, why you're on it, to tell the truth, when you actually LIVE there, and you have the facilities, the courthouse, the gen. societies, etc at your fingertips!
