Does anyone have information on the Samuel Bloodworth family? Am particularly interested in finding the names of any daughters and who they married. Believe it is possible a Bloodworth daughter married Philip Logan. This is based on the fact that in 1785 Philip Logan sold 287-1/2 acres of land that had been granted to Samuel Bloodworth in 1784. Believe the property may have been a dowry. The land was bounded on the southwest by the Oconee River, on the southeast by an island, and on all other sides by vacant land. Would like to find out what community or town this land would have been near.
