I'm so pleased to announce that we do have a new County Coordinator for Baldwin County: Kathy Selman As you know Eileen Sumner worked hard on the page, and has graciously turned over her materials to Kathy. Marcelle Bridgeman has been managing this list for some time, and we also have another person, Janet Davis, who will be working closely with Kathy on the page itself. BUT, we need all of you on this list to share some of your materials and also to let us know what would be most helpful to you to help you with your research. If you have visited a cemetery in Baldwin, it would be so nice to add your family listings to our pages. We could attach your e-mail to it, and then others would be able to find you as well. There are many, many LDS microfilms for Baldwin, and it would be so wonderful if when you are looking at them, you would also copy down some additional information to share. Do any of you have any histories of the churches in Baldwin County? Many times they have anniversary brochures published or even plates which listed the ministers on the back with a picture of the church on the front. I understand that the Presbyterian Session Minutes were published in Central Georgia Genealogical Society's Quarterly in 1986... I don't know who the author of this was, but usually CGGS will give permission for the material to be used on-line. So please do look through what you have in your files and try to share something with this list. Let's all work together to get more data on-line for Baldwin!! Virginia
