The Baldwin List is set so that a "reply" goes just to the individual. I know that some lists do have it to "reply" to the list, but I have encountered many, many embarrassing situations where in haste someone responds to a note , and meant for it to be private to the individual who sent it, and instead it goes to the List for all to read. I keep the Baldwin address in my Address book, and then just quickly click on it in addition to the "reply" individual, and that way it will go to everyone through the list, but right away to the individual I'm answering.
