    3. Rebecca, Thanks so very much for this information. Interestingly, I've noticed that numerous families chose the heroic name Lafayette when naming their children. In our case, Lafayette Carrington MOORE, b. 22 Sept 1847, Hancock Co Georgia. Eldest son of Ransom Moore and Narcissa Frances CLARK.. who was born in Milledgeville.
