She married at age 14 in Helena, Arkansas, with the ok of her unnamed guardian. I'm searching for her parents. Have found an Ezekiel MILLER on the 1830 Baldwin co census, with a daughter under 5, which looks a likely bet. Anyone researching Millers in the 1820 + timeframe , Milledgeville, or Baldwin County?
My great great grandmother, according to her son's death certificate and family lore, was born in Milledgeville, in 1826. Her name was Susan Ann MILLER, and she married in ARK, with the permission of her guardian (not named....RATS!) at the age of 14, to Reuben James BULLARD, of King George County VA, on whose line I have much info. I also know much about her descendants, but nothing of her parents. Does anyone know anything of MILLERS in the time period 1826-1840s, in Milledgeville, or close around, in Baldwin county? The 1830 census shows an Ezekiel MILLER, with a female child under 5, which looks a likely lead. Any hints, suggestions, leads, etc will be gratefully accepted! I'm many hours away, so don't suggest visiting local genealogical libraries,etc.....a trip is out of the question right now. I need either on-line sites, personal info, or places that will accept genealogical questions by mail. Thanks for any help.....I sure need it! Sandra

Jennifer, there is a "History of Baldwin County Georgia" by Mrs. Anna Maria Green Cook. It was published in association with Boyd Publishing Company and the Mary Vinson Memorial Library, Milledgeville, Georgia. Believe it is available in some public libraries if you have a local library that works with local residents to obtain books or portions thereof through inter-library loans. I have found a record of a will(Baldwin Co. Willbook A) by William Ellis, a minister, who lists his children by his first wife, his second wife Polly(Lennard)-m. 1809, and their six common children plus her children by a previously marriage (one , James Lennard, was my GG Grandfather). One of their common sons was Benjamin Franklin Ellis. However no Isaac is listed. The source of my info was "They Were Here", GA. Genealogical Records and "Georgia Pioneers' . I which I accessed through FamilyTreeMaker but they should be available in Macon or Atlanta. You may possibly get some info on Isaac or at the courthouse in Milledgeville.
