Would appreciate any help in finding out about Fannie CLARK who was b. in May of 1880. Her Mother was dead on the 1880 census of Sumter County. She was living with her father, Charles, and her brother, Carl, at her grand father's home. His name was Matthew Clark. Matthew died in July of 1881 and then Fannie's father died in the spring of 1882. Fannie went to live with her Uncle, G. A. Harper, her mother's brother, until Dec. of 1883. At this point J. H. Black became her guardian and he was already the guardian for Newton "Carl" Clark, her brother. Both of these children had inherited land from their grandfather and J. H. Black farmed that land for them. Then in 1896 when Fannie was 16 years old she requested that B. F. Todd of Terrell County be her guardian and this was granted. B. F. Todd was the husband of her mother's sister, Mary. I can't find Fannie after that. I, also, don't know what happened to Carl Clark, her brother. He was 6 years old in 1880. Any hel! p appreciated.
