This year the KESLER reunion will be on 1 August i.e. the first Sunday in August. Activities will begin as usual 10:30 AM at the Prospect Methodist Church in Franklin Co GA. The church service will be by Rev. Dennis KESLER and singing by his famous family of gospel travelers. Dinner will be a spread of everybodys covered dishes placed together in the fellowship hall and we can talk at lunch about whatever you want to talk about.... maybe your family history? Then a short business meeting. Then there will be a memorial of Civil war soldiers in the church and local cemeteries in the general vicinity where we will place iron crosses on the graves of these soldiers and there will be military people providing the 21 gun salutes etc. Boyce Kesler Edwards is in charge of that portion of the ceremonies and she has it all on track, I believe. Directions: From Atlanta go north on I-85 about 76 miles to Martin Bridge Road exit. Exit to left across the highway and you are now heading due north on Ga Hiway 63, continue on 63 until it dead ends into Hiway 184, turn right then about 1/4 mile on right is Prospect Church Road, turn right again and the church is about 1 mile on your left. That is in the tri county corners of Franklin, Banks and Stephens counties. Come, bring your lunch in a covered dish and smile all the way.
