A cousin recently mailed me a copy of a page from a family Bible. Something puzzled me and I was wondering if any of you could shed any light on the mystery. The date of birth and death is listed for the man and the woman. Then it tells the date that their funeral was preached. The date for the man's was almost 9 months after his death and the woman's was listed as 6 months after her death. Is this some sort of mistake or was that possible? How could it be? Why? The person who recorded all this information seemed to have recorded it carefully even giving the names of the preachers who preached the funerals as well as chapters and verses of the Bible from which the text was taken. Any help appreciated. Pat
