Jane or Lynda or anyone out there - Does anyone have the 1860 census for Coweta Co., GA? I just found in Ancestry an Allen Williams in Coweta Co., GA in Newman P. O. Township. Could someone please, if it is available, do a lookup and see who was living with him or who he was living with? Thank you in advance. An added note. I agree that Rootsweb is by far the best information center and I use it and support it all the time through the yearly donations and by submitting documents and photos I have for others to enjoy - some of which have never been put online. However, in Sumner Co., KS and in New Mexico and Arizona, there is quite a bit online about the Swaggart family. For those who are wondering about Ancestry and the others, they come in handy also - like now. I live in the Republic of Panama and I use every resource that I can find because there are no libraries available down here but, if I lived where I could get to a library on a regular basis, I very likely would not subscribe. I get there only once/year and always reserve a few days in the library for my research. The paid resources save me a lot of time because I have all my questions ready and don't waste time looking.
