I also think we need to take in account that teenagers then and now are two different breds, comparing them is like comparing cats vs. dogs all you can agree on is they have 4 feet, a tail, and make lots of noise. I also think that women want a stable husband with a good finicial background and sorry to say you don't find those men to be 16 or so. so if a finicially stable man asks for your hand and you find him attractive...I think you should go for it no matter the age difference.
