Hi everyone, I could sure use any feedback on the following. Just any feedback will doas I an NOT picky!! LOL COURSEY, William A. b. about 1785 in ? died 1849 Tatnall County, Ga. wife- COLLINS, Sarah b. 1807-1809 Tatnall County. They were married in 1827 in Tatnall County. Evidentally William A. COURSEY was married prior to Sarah. In his estate settlement it lists two grown daughters that were born in 1816 and 1821. COURSEY, Nancy m. COLLINS, Seaborn COURSEY, Winiford m. HOLLINGSWORTH, Jacob Children born after his marriage to Sarah Collins were: COURSEY, Mary C. m. WILKES, Elias COURSEY, William A. Jr. m. COLLINS, Mary COURSEY, Frances Ann Elizabeth m. WILKES, James COURSEY, Thomas Joseph m. WILKES, Elizabeth COURSEY, Robert J. died during Civil War COURSEY, Christopher Columbus died during Civil War COURSEY, Sarah Emma COURSEY, Queen Ann P. m. FENDLEY, John or Jordon I am trying to find out anything about William's first marriage and on where he was from. He might have been in either Bulloch or Screven County at the time. Brothers of WIlliam MIGHT have been: Zachariah Coursey, Absolom Coursey and John Coursey. All would have been born prior to 1800 I would imagine. If anyone has just the tiniest bit of info I would sure appreciate it. My William is not the William A. Coursey who was sheriff of Screven Co.. I do feel that they are related. Thanks to all, Nancy
