For starters you told me that he was married in Chattooga County to Frances E. Richardson on 18 January 1855. I found her in Chattooga County in the 1850 census: Frances Richardson, 23 F, born in South Carolina Matthew Richardson, 24(?) M, born in South Carolina William P. Richardson, 2 M all were living in the home of George Morgan, 24 M and Harriet Morgan, 30.F Also living in the same home was Waddy Copeland, 25 M.
