Jo, I'm copying the Bladen List on this because that was the List your request came in on, and it might prove to be fortuitous. There were two LEVI LEEs in South Carolina in the late 1700s that have known Wills. One in Spartanburg and one in Barnwell County. You said that you had found Levi's Will in Spartanburg. I don't think it was your Levi. Neither Will "fits" and there was a LEVI LEE in "North Carolina portion of Spartanburg". He was there in 1784-1787 and in 1800 (son John was born in 1794) and gone by the 1810 census, which is when he shows up in Georgia. I believe that Levi was alive and well and moved with his son JOHN and wife MARY to Georgia. Not only was he alive, he was in better shape than MARY who died in 1814 (in Bulloch County, not Camden County). When son John left Bulloch County after his mother died (he moved to Camden County in 1814 and married three times, having a total of 19 children), his father remarried: Nancy Daughtry of Bulloch County, 9/27/1816. They were married by Benjamin Lanier. I'm sending you tons of documentation on the lives of both Levi and son John. Have fun with it, Dee For details on sources used, refer to this link: http://www.rootsweb.com/~ncbladen/lookups.htm
