Just a quick comment of rosters of CSA soldiers. It took forever to find my grandfa Jeptha Murdock who enlisted in White Co. GA because he became ill and was sent home to die shortly after enlisting. He was at Petersburg VA hospital; does anyone know if any records of that hospital are extant? Anyway, the point is, you may not find your CSA ancestor on the net. Try Nara too.
