Beagles in Georgia. John was my gggrandaddy and was born in Nov. 1829 either in Georgia or South Carolina. I think his daddy was born in South Carolina. Also, I would be interested in any Beagles that you might find listed. They would probably be related since this is not a name that you hear every day. This name was spelled many ways such as Beagles, Bigles, Beigles, Biggles and so on. I think that it is Irish, but I am not sure. I am trying to find out where in Georgia that John Lived early on.
