Hello, I'm new to the list and wanted to state the names I am working on. I have John Hamilton, born 1780 in SC and died 1837 Bartow Co., GA. He married Mary Posey Hearn, born 1792, Hancock Co., GA and died 1853 in Chattooga Co., GA. Also I have Wesley Pledger, born 1801, Elbert Co., GA and died 1866 in Hill Co., TX. He married Eliza Abagail Hamilton who was born 1814 in GA. Wesley's father was Thomas Pledger, Sr. He was born 1765 in NC and died 1846 in Elbert Co., GA. The daughter of Wesley and Eliza was Eliza Jane Pledger, born 1855 in Chattooga Co., GA. She was my grandmother. I would appreciate hearing from anyone working on these names.
