"Villa Rica Gold Diggers" or "Gold Diggers" Wright, William M. - Private. Wounded and captured in 1862. Admitted to Harewood U.S.A. General Hospital at Washington, D.C., wounded in head, Dec. 23, 1862. Died Mar. 1, 1863. Buried at Arlington, Va. Muster Roll of Company H, 22d Regiment, Georgia Volunteer Infantry, Army Northern Virginia, C.S.A., Warren County, Georgia. "Gardner Volunteers" English, Matthew B. - Private Feb. 18, 1862. Captured, date and place unknown. Exchanged. Roll for Feb. 28, 1865, last on file, shows him present. Scruggs, William C. - Enlisted as a private in Co. H, 16th Regt. North Carolina Inf. May 14, 1861. Transferred to Co. E, 24th Regt. Inf. Mar. 28, 1863. Captured, date and place not given. Paroled Mar. 3, 1864. Roll dated Jan. 30, 1865, last on file, shows him present.
