(Born in 1832. Died of heart disease, contracted in service, in Montgomery County, Ga. Mar. 6, 1888. Curles, W. Roan - Enlisted as a private in Co. F, 6th Regt. Ga. Inf. May 27, 1861. Discharged, disability, at Richmond, Va., Dec. 20, 1861. Enlisted as a private in Co., C, 51st Regt. Ga. Inf. Sept. 1, 1862. Paid for commutation of rations while on sick furlough Apr. 24, 1863. Pension records show he was on detail in shoe shop at Petersburg, Va. June 1864-Apr. 1865. (Born in Montgomery County, Ga. Feb. 2, 1832.
