Hi Sharla: I have an idea we will cross on some other surnames also. The CUPPs & SUMMERLINs are on my Dad's BOWLIN side of the family who mostly ended up in NE Arkansas. The CALLOWAYs are on my mother's GOFF side who mostly ended up in East TX. There weren't that many families in America in the 1700s & the ones who followed the Southern migration trails usually intermarried several times. Thanks for answering my post.
