Hello -- I just received information per the GA Death index that the county of residence for the person I was searching was county code #031. Can anyone tell me what county in Georgia this code # corresponds to? Is the list of county numbers posted somewhere??? Thanks! Hi Valerie, Prior to 1993 the county code #031 indicated Clayton Co. I don't know of a place of the web these codes are listed. (There may be one, but I haven't seen it.) I have a photocopied sheet of the list.
