If anyone has a Ga. census record for 1870 #291, will you please be so kind as to look up my grgrandfather William L. EVATT. This would mean a lot to me as I cannot get any farther in my history without finding out what his father's name was. Also desperately want to find his mother Mary's maiden name so I can continue my research. W.L. had a brother George W. and a sister Ola Lee. I believe they were all born in Ga. There are tons of EVATTs on the net, but I can't make a connection. If anyone has any suggestions, Please let me know. I need all the help I can get. Thank you so much, Ginny

When posting requests to the list for census lookups, please provide the county if you know it, since there is no state census per se. I have a number of the records and am always happy to do lookups, but just don't have time to go through all of them each time, esp if the requester already knows the county. Thanks.
