Hello Barbara, It is speculated that my husband's family was in Georgia before going to Alabama. Robert Lee Henson and Philip Edward Henson were born in Al. 1811 and 1818 respectively. Their father was probably Robert Henson b. in GA. My husband's uncle Charlie Henson 1905-1988 lived in Thomasville GA. but we have very little information on him. Actually, I have just recently started working on this family, so I have very little to go on at this point. Thanks for asking.
