    3. The Glenns married one of Aquilla descendents. I saved your message to answer you but my husband had another heart attack before I could get back to you. He has been in hospital about 100 miles away until yesterday late. Give me a few more days and I will get with you. Aquilla died young about befor 1787. The children were later found in Georgia, Greene County. Elisha was born about 1777 in Franklin County, Virginia, where Aquilla and Elizabeth Bandy were at the time of Aquilla's death. Elisha married Hannah Cabiness in Franklin County, Va; He and Hannah had 9 children on the1830 census of Greene County Georgia. I have identified 8 of those children and possibly the ninth. Am searching for info on Elisha and Hanna and the following nine children in my file at this time: > > (1) Elizabeth Greer, born about 1800, married 1819 in Jones County, Ga. to John B Todd. I need more proof on this line and a list of the children. > (2)Palatia Greer who married a former Georgia Senator Isaac Hill Webb in April 1819 an later moved to Louisiana. > (3)Richard Greer who I believed married sisters, both daughters of William Greer and Delilah Haynes: Lucy and Nancy Greer. > (4)George Greer who married Emily Pitts 12 Jun 1825 in Baldwin County, Ga > (5)Elisha Pascal Greer, born 26 Oct 1818, married 25 Jan 1849 in Muscogee Co, Ga Martha F Baugh; they had children but I only identified 1. he died in the Battle of Gettysburg in 1862. > (6) William Greer--nothing on him. > (7) Benjamin Franklin Greer, who married Elizabeth Chorde 23 Feb 1840, Muscogee Co, Ga,. > (8) Kinchen Greer, born about 1821 and died between 1845 and 1850. The name of his wife is spelled many ways: Belina, Bolina, Bullina; her last name is unknwn since the marriage license was burned in a Muscogee County fire which destroyed many of the records approx 1836 or thereabouts. > They had the following children: Elizabeth, Virginia, William, Hannah, Fredonia and John. Would like to further identify Belina (?) and learn more about this family. > (9) Henry Greer; this name comes from HISTORY OF CHATTAHOOCHEE COUNTY GEORGIA in which it is stated he was a son. Can find nothing on him. > > The first 6 or 7 children were born in Putnam County, Ga. If you can add anything or can help with identification of these famiies, please contact me as soon as possible.
