I am only peripherally related to Whittentons...but I am a Director/Trustee of the Whittenton Cemetery in Hamilton County, TX. The land was donated by Marion "Bud" Whittenton around 1880. He migrated to TX from Alabama after the Civil War, during reconstruction, and his wife, Lizzie (Bullard) Whittenton, was my great-great Aunt...Some data is available on the Hamilton County site on Rootsweb...more in the Hamilton County Historical Books... >From: Torri Brackins <[email protected]> >Reply-To: [email protected] >To: [email protected] >Subject: [GA-Roots] Whitton and Whittington Families >Date: Tue, 14 May 2002 11:54:08 -0700 (PDT) > >Needing help with either families, eventhough both >names married probably in the mid 1800's and their >off spring who is my great grandfather is Marion >Franklin Whitton....Any help would be greatly >appreciated please send all replies to >[email protected] thanks >Torri in Florida > >__________________________________________________ >Do You Yahoo!? >LAUNCH - Your Yahoo!
