One of the County Hosts for GA AHGP sent this notice out and I am passing it on in case you did not receive it on another list. If interested in this project please contact Paula or me and we will see that the photos are placed online. Doris Hi All, The following message was posted on another mailing list that I subscribe to and I thought it might be a good idea to pass along. A lot of you will be going there to make those pics anyway so why not add a few more as a kindness to those not able to be there to make their own. Some may not be able to travel and some may just live too far away. Do other genealogy researchers a big favor and include those extras. Then if you will email them to me and specify the cemetery, I will post them online for other researchers to see. > Greetings, all! > With this weekend being Memorial Day, and several of you will be > traveling to cemeteries, I would like to suggest that you take a digital > camera with you, and take some photos of the tombstones in the cemeteries > that you visit. Small cemeteries can easily be covered by one person, but > larger cemeteries would need several people to take photos. > This is just an idea I'm floating/proposing, since cemeteries usually > look their best at Memorial Day, and it usually isn't too hot yet to be > out. >>so there is somewhere to put all these photos once we gather them. On behalf of all the other researchers out there and myself I would like to thank you in advance for your kindness. Paula Georgia AHGP http://www.usgennet.org/usa/ga/state/ email to [email protected]
