Looking for parents to James C. or K. COOPER. In all of the census James is listed as James C. According to the CD`s and books pertaining to marriages in GA he is listed as James K. Looking at the GA-CSA records James is listed as James C. COOPER. The middle initial whether C. or K. is more than likely for Cannon or Kannon. No proof. But, looking at the 1850 GA census with James C. listed in the 88th Division we do find in the same 88th Division the following: -------------------------------------------------------------------- Arthur COOPER, 81 years, farmer, born GA -------------------------------------------------------------------- Blake J. It seems the others have ties to Clarke Co GA. Anyone stumble across these families and are privy to their trails ?? We do hear from time to time that we are looking for the COOPER / CANNON line.
