Looking for info on AUSTIN JONES b. 1839, probably in Wilkinson co. Ms. d. 1908 in Biloxi, Ms. He was in the Confederate hospital at Beauvoir. He is buried in Beauvoir Cemetery. He was a member of the 6th Ms. Infantry, co. G. known as the Rockport Steel Blades. He enlisted in Copiah co. Ms. in July of 1861. He was paroled in Greenboro, N.C. in 1865. He applied for a Confederate pension on Sept. 10, 1906. He married Nancy Ann Walker. I have the following children listed: HOMA LEONA b. 1-29-1872 she married WILLIAM OLIVER FLOYD, FANNY, ROXIE, and RENE. I think his father was WILLIAM T. JONES of Wilkinson co.b. in 1812, in Georgia in 1850and 1860. I think he had the following brothers WILLIAM C. JONES b. 1843, OPHEIA JONES b. 1845, MARY JONES b. 1847. Thank you for any help.
