I abstracted a few Fowler wills from the Meriwether County Courthouse yesterday. Don't think they're mine but may turn out to be relatives on down the line. Mine came from Gwinnett County, GA...earliest record I have of them there is 1850. These are wills in the Meriwether County, GA Courthouse: Will of JOHN B. FOWLER..leaves lots of property in Ralight District, mentions sons GEORGE W. FOWLER, BISHOP FOWLER, JOHN W. FOWLER, THOMAS R. FOWLER, JAMES G. FOWLER, LOUIS W. FOWLER, BEU FOWLER, PERRY FOWLER. and daughters, SARAH FOWLER and MRS. MARY ROLLINS. Recorded 19 April 1902, Will Book C. Page 251+. Will of JAMES G. FOWLER..Recorded 13 May 1862, Book B, P. 38. Mentions sister SARAH FOWLER. Father WILLIS FOWLER is executor. Will of WILLIAM T. FOWLER...Died 7 Dec 1938, will filed 20 June 1938.
