I believe it is proved through John and Reubin's wills and estate. They are mentioned in these numerous times along with at least one payment from the estate. I do not have the original papers on these but one of them made Curry the guardian of one of the children. I think this is enough to show Samantha was Reubin's daughter. Teresa, Troup County is also full of Thrashes. Some of the same group were in Meriwether. George Thrash migrated from Wilkes to Troup in the Mountville area.
