Steve, There are 7 marked and 2 unmarked graves there. The only marked Mitchell grave is William Mitchell 1791- 1826 4 Ga BN Revolutionary War. Here are the directions: >From the courthouse in Irwinton go west on Hwy. 57. At the high school turn left on J.R. Sims Rd.. Go about 13 miles. When you see an old dilapadated house on the right on a hill you are almost there. At the bottom of the hill on the right turn onto the dirt road (turns back 45 degrees). Go up the hill to where the road is cabled off by deer hunters. The cemetery is about 50 yards on the left. It only has a couple of markers so it may be hard to see.
