There is a Deep River Friends Meeting (est. approx. 1750), at 5300 W. Wendover Ave., High Point, NC 27265, (336) 454-1928. High Point is approximately 15 miles from Greensboro, my home, in the middle of the state although the two cities almost abutt now with annexation (grab that tax money right?). There were (and are) a lot of Quakers in the area. Guilford College (a Quaker school) was established in approx. 1834 and has a library with many old records. You may want to try there if you are looking for Quakers.
