Could someone look up death index please. John Mumford died 1845 in Lincoln co. Would like to know cause of death Greatly appreciated.
Georgia's Death Index begins with the year 1919. There would be nothing to my knowledge giving the cause of a death which occurred in 1845 unless he were a notable person and his death warranted a mention in the local newspaper. I have seen Bible records which noted that so-and-so died on such-and-such date of this disease or that, but that's really very rare. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, Linda in Georgia Census/Cemetery Lookup Volunteer Genealogy is my ONLY business. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bessie Pello" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, July 31, 2002 7:12 AM Subject: [GA-CEM] John Mumford > Could someone look up death index please.
