Surnames: Hicks, Camp, Pearce, Brewer Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/Eo.2ADEAE/394.1.1 Message Board Post: My ancestor was Jeremiah Hicks who died in 1894 and is buried in the Wade family cemetery also off Rockbridge. His 2nd wife was Nancy Pierce who is also buried at WFS. I am curious that they could have been members at Corinth. Are there membership records available anywhere? There are a number of Pierce family buried at WFS and don't really understand what the connection with the Wade family would have been My Jeremiah had been in DeKalb at least as far back as the 1850 census. His mother Cola, was mentioned in an Atlanta newspaper as living to be 100. Can't find where she is buried or where Jeremiah's first wife was buried. Other famly members are buried in the Stone Mountain Village Cemetery. Jeremiah and his son Robert were stone masons in the quarry at Stone Mountain. Jeremiah's daughter Louisa married Robert Brewer of Polk County. I don't have a clue as to how they got together. I am descended from them. Any suggestions or thoughts? Thanks! Carole
