I live in Midland, Ga. If I can help let me know. She was probably at the Striffler Hamby Funeral Home in Columbus. There are some local churches with cemeteries but she could have been buried in Columbus at Parkhill Cemetery. That was about the time my Granddaddy died. He was buried at Parkhill. In the 1950's Midland was in Harris County, I think. I am not sure but I don't think that area was annexed into Muscogee county until much later.
