Hello list; In May 12, 1921, my grandfather Russell Louis PRESNELL bought a lot 28 M E. from Magnolia Cemetery Company, 1001 Empire or Atlanta Trust Co. Bldg, Atlanta, GA. On January 1, 1922 he paid it off, and the Warranty Deed 1195655 was files at 12:30 PM February 19, 1951 and recorded in book 2611 Folio 114 on February 22, 1951 in the Fulton county courthouse. Here is where the mystery I have begins: Russell Louis Presnell, born 18 July 1884, Stevenson, Jackson, AL and died 29 Oct 1926, Atlanta, Fulton, GA. I think he is buried in that lot 28E of Magnolia Cemetery. The deed date is 4 years before, but it was recorded 5 months before his wife died. His wife: Margaret Emma (Allen) Presnell, born 15 April 1879, Paint Rock, Jackson, AL and died 21 July 1951, Atlanta, Fulton, GA. She was buried 24 July 1951, Magnolia Cemetery, Atlanta, Fulton, GA. Is she buried with him? Of the 8 children, 3 also died in GA, and 2 in Atlanta, Fulton, GA. The other 5 are in various parts of CA and that is another search there. Mable Irene (Presnell) Long Born 23 April 1910, Paint Rock, Jackson, AL and died 4 February 1989, Atlanta, Fulton, GA. Her husband, William C. Long, a retied Army officer, may also be with her here. Harry Grady Presnell, born 3 June 1917, Atlanta, Fulton, GA and died in August 1976, Atlanta, Fulton, GA. His wife (unknown) may be with him. James "Alvie" Alvin Presnell, born 20 June 1912, Atlanta, Fulton, GA and died 14 August 1993, Morrow, Clayton, GA. His last wife (3) Frances R. may be with him. I have found on a map where the Magnolia Cemetery is located, but I am on the west coast. Magnolia Cemetery is in NW Atlanta - Marietta St. turns into Perry Blvd. Continue down Perry Blvd. until it dead-ends into Hollywood Rd. Take a left on Hollywood. About 1/2 mile on the right is where the cemetery is located. There is no listing of the names on the county site that I can find. I have searched the Yellow and White pages for the Magnolia Cemetery Company without any luck. Searching the USGenWep Project files only comes up with his brother Enoch and wife Mary Ann (Allen) buried in Roseland Cemetery, East Point, Fulton, GA. Is there anyone that can check the Magnolia cemetery an see how many of my kin folk are there? Thank you for any help you may offer. Clarence
