Every GA counties has these maps for sale (at least, until supplies run out). HOWEVER, many local governments do not seem the know that they have these DOT maps! I go into the courthouse first and ask for the DOT or "Big White Map." Usually I get a blank look. I then ask for the tax accessors office or for an office that deals with land. Eventually I will find someone who knows about the maps (often times in a separate commissioners building or at a local DOT office). The maps are good but not perfect. Sometimes cemeteries are in the wrong place, mislabeled or completely left off (about 20% of Camden cemeteries were left off completely). I've never been to a county that charged more than $3.00 for the DOT map. Jefferson County charged a low $1.50 each. So when the PDF version won't do it for you, and you will be visiting the county in question, head to the courthouse first and be insistent. I always get 2 maps - one to mark up and one to keep clean.
