Good morning, Thanks to a very generous benefactor I have just uploaded a goodly portion of the Elkins Cemetery in Savannah to my web site at http://www.rootsweb.com/~gachath2/index.html I have also added several new surnames, obits and marriages this week. Please drop by and sit a spell. We love to have company. Happy hunting, Paula
Hi Paula! Not sure if I have sent my Elkens cemetery information to you or not, but I may have. And, the Elkins Cemetery was spelled "ELKENS" when I visited there last year, at least that was the way the name on the cemetery gate had it spelled. Let me know if you don;t have my data there too, OK? Hello: You wouldn't have anyinformation ona David M. Davenport, born 1821 in Shooting Creek, NC would you? Or his daddy born 1795 Burke County, NC. David M.'s wife's name was Rebecca and David's wife name was Dorthy. Since I live in Texas I don't know if this cenetery is anywhere close to the Shooting Creek Area., and I don't know if there is a Church called Shooting Creek either, or if there is a cemetery called shooting Creek. donna [email protected] Looking for this information for Earnesteen Davenport Callaway., she needs the information to be able to become a member of the Daughter of the American Revolution. Thanks Again,
Donna, Unfortunately, Chatham County is on the coast of Georgia and many many miles from North Carolina. Check out this site http://www.rootsweb.com/~ncclay/ and if you can't find anything you need then email the guy on there Tim Seawolf-Self and ask him if he has any suggestions for you. He is very nice and will help you if he can. Shooting Creek is within his Clay County area.
